Keep in mind the #1 EV brand is a luxury car famous for high torque and acceleration, and are largely driven by the kind of douchebags who don’t signal lane changes. Of course those are going to have higher wear on tires, and being the #1 brand it’s going to skew the statistics.

It’s arguably less of a punishment than mandatory military service.

This is where you said it: “Contentious Objector is a special status for ppl who actually walk the walk.”

In other words, you’re ok with religious people getting special privileges that the rest of us don’t.

Google says he was the screenwriter along with Stu Krieger, but when I mentioned Bluth I was thinking of his animation style, like how fire is depicted as a terrifying force.

I heard about some parents who took young kids to Deadpool and had to walk out at International Women’s Day.

Few things are at that level, but that’s not the only story aimed at children to feature a sympathetic character dying brutally off-screen, like the mom in Finding Nemo, the brother in Big Hero 6, or Anakin killing the younglings. Then there are ON-screen deaths like Optimus Prime and Mufasa (lots of Disney in here).

One of the most popular children’s cartoons of all time starts off with the protagonist’s entire nation being genocided. It’s off-screen, but we see some corpses. I think kids can handle a single death.

And when they say “crime” what they really mean is “black people”. That’s the reason they shut down suburban train lines in the first place. If car ownership is required to live in the suburbs, that keeps the poors out.

In other words, having money is freedom. A tale as old as time...

Are you saying southerners make intelligent choices at the ballot box? Because all available evidence says the opposite.

No, that would be silly. They’re going to move to higher density, LESS expensive areas. Suburbs are stupid expensive. They drain far more in tax revenue than they produce, because infrastructure costs more when it’s spread out and you need to build more of it for the same number of homes.

That’s not an assumption, it’s the reality of living in the modern world. Every profession can benefit from more education.

It will change when economic conditions make those suburbs unaffordable and they die. It has already started.

Explain why tech schools that don’t have any real sports programs had the same tuition increases.

“$2799 down”

The solution is to stop requiring car ownership to participate in society.

College got more expensive because the government promised to guarantee all student loans. This meant colleges could jack up prices as high as they want, and students will still pay it, because they can get infinite credit with the government.
