Out of curiosity, what kind of TV did you play it on? When it was originally released on PS2 it looked fine on my CRT screen, but because it was made to look good on a blurry old TV, it hasn't aged well visually.

The game you're looking for is Okami. It's the best Zelda-style game I've ever played that didn't have the words "The Legend of Zelda" in the title.

1) The culprits assumed that they knew what an American flag looks like (perhaps because they see it all the time), and were wrong.

To me, the incorrect flags are a great indication that they are American (and I say this as an American)

They didn't have the APIs and multi-target compilers that modern

The colors, the hair, the "tiara"... But it's mostly the pose. That's Lynda Carter's signature Wonder Woman pose.

The definitions I'm most familiar with are alpha is feature-complete (all gameplay exists, but some art / levels / etc are placeholder), and beta is content-complete (everything is done except the bugfixing and possibly some balance / tuning changes). This certainly could be alpha.

Sluggy Freelance. I think the vampire plot arc was in the late '90s.

Reminds me of Riff's wooden stake gun: "It shoots 100 stakes a second. Unfortunately, it only holds 1000 stakes, and it takes 2 days to reload."

So does Marvel, but nobody would call Jean Grey a Disney princess.
