SNES was a doomed console (Sega does what Nintendon't!), N64 was a doomed console, Gamecube was a doomed console, Wii was a doomed console. As a Nintendo shareholder, I'm perfectly fine with Wii U being doomed.

The game is approaching its 18th birthday, I think any spoilers are beyond the statute of limitations.
