Still love the more subtle look of the C5.  Maybe one of my favorite looking cars of all time.

They made the A-pillar 8 inches thick and the waistline at eye level because of the SUV.

The “trick” is calling a microcar a SUV.

Nah, while all the materials are fantastic, I’m sure, other than the shift linkage, it is an overwrought mess.

I saw the Pininfarina badge the other day on something they designed... sexiest looking Coke machine I have ever laid eyes on....

All of that said, obviously rewards and/or pricing are in need of adjustment, as it will take me years to afford the $20M cars.

This is how it becomes “microtransaction filled”. Increase the price of things you buy, but not the prize money. Then offer to sell credits for actual money.

It reminds me of those Art Center or CCS projects from 10 years ago where they are like “Design the Ferrari of the future!” And you had like 6 or 7 different student takes that looked something like this. Don’t get me wrong, I think it looks great. It just has that “future Ferrari” look to it, which is what think they

It’s a 1:1 Hot Wheels car.

When I first saw one I was amazed at how small the thing was, I’d seen all these pictures and videos and in my head had scaled it up to the height of a regular car, but it isn’t.  In my opinion the thing looks much, much better in the metal than it does in photos.

exactly this, TDU and to a lesser extent Burnout Paradise did this very well, my favorite racing games.

I would hope Monaco maybe?

Did enjoy those long road trips across the Big Island. They haven’t said where this one’s located yet, but it will supposedly be 1:1.

Simple yet sophisticated, just right size-wise and it doesn’t hurt that it’s attached to a good looking wagon

I’d imagine Apple doesn’t have an answer when manufacturers point out “We already make money by making cars, what are you bringing to the table?”

Hyundai, in particular, has enough tech, uniqueness, etc on their own, they don’t need Apple, Apple needs them. Right now, seems like most auto mfgs are flat out with their own unique products and projects and wouldn’t have the resources (currently) to assist.

I would have used a tiny amount of xanthan gum, but I guess a tbsp of potato flakes is cheaper than ¼ tsp of gum

To be fair, he said stabilize, not thicken. The potato flakes could help keep the oil emulsified.

Yeah, it is a common technique in a lot of restaraunts for a lot of things. But toum? I’ve made gallons and gallons of toum in my day and I’ve had to thin it out with more lemon juice before, but I’ve never had it come out too thin. And if it did, I wouldn’t add potatoes to it unless I scrapped it as toum and just

Supposedly they’re also thrown into lots of dishes at AYCE buffets to make them more filling.
