I’d normally agree. Alfa Romeo did try super futuristic for a bit (Brera) then tried to apply the retro 8C design to every model with disastrous results (I think all post-Mito models look like blobs), so I’d love for them to try something incredibly modern again, but with all the surviving design houses snatched up…
I mean it’s cool, but it’s generic in a way that it could’ve been from any company. (Full length bars remind me of 90s Mercury instead.) Not sure what exactly is supposed to trickle down to any production car, just vague statements.
You can create some very convincing and adorable miniature-style shots in Tomica Town, especially if you’ve mastered the tilt-shift effect in the game’s advanced photo suite.
it’s gonna end up being a single seater
So many fucking trident design cues. I count at least 9. Love it.
It truly is insane that the Veyron had become the new supercar benchmark. It was the supercar to end all supercars - one that was built around performance figures than anything else... and yet it’s the one that made the 1000hp and 400kph spec completely ubiquitous in the hypercar market.
Chances that it’s just filing for use in a video game or something? I seem to remember Porsche filing one for 917 Living Legend a couple of years before it ended up in Gran Turismo 7, and the likeness wasn’t used for anything but for that game and toy models since.
It reminds me of those big ugly watches that go for $300k.
It’s always funny when a game touts advanced crash damage system but they’re often completely unrealistic. Modern race cars do not crumple. Bodies are made of composite material that should break away or shatter. I get that it’s nigh impossible for any game with triple digit car count to render realistic damage for…
Current doughy MB design language was the worst one they could’ve built a supercar out of.
This plus intentionally not letting players sell unwanted rewards cars.(Gran Turismo Sport also didn’t let players get anything for selling gift cars, but let players pay real money to unlock specific cars)
I guess I never thought about this because I’m likely to get fancier imported aged white cheddars where as I’ll default to the standard cheap kind when I need something yellow and shredded. That’s why I expect them to taste different, I suppose.
I find “Korean” label itself already very reductive. It varies wildly from either vaguely gochujang inspired (or sriracha like mentioned above) or bulgogi marinade inspired. Sometimes not even!
