To be fair, they don’t need to follow any production schedule. Show one physical model off. Take tons of deposits, and take sweet time delivering them one by one as they get assembled. Tell customers it’ll take time because it’s *exclusive* and *hand built*.

I’ve seen tons of headlines about how Tesla beat Porsche’s laptime, even if actual words in blurbs say that it’s not really comparable. For Elon Musk, that’s already a victory, right? I... can’t agree with that bit about C8's design being cohesive. I personally think it’s a mess (especially the rear end and big angular trim pieces), but beauty’s in the eye of the beholder.
