I think arguable A- for season but I can see the B+. Episode for me was easily A- or even A. I liked how it captured the essence of innovation. Something completely different is going on but it inspires an idea. To top it off, its at heart a dick joke. And while I've been a little mixed as to if I like Richard or not

They need to replace Welch with Stephen Root -

I realized how people in the Eyrie have garments that make shoulders look like Eagle wings. Everyone's costume tips off to where they are from, and the animal they represent.

They tell by shortening day length.

No one could ever give me a clear answer as to if long winters happen just on Westeros or the rest of the world its in (like Essos). I think Essos is spared but does that mean trade is suspended if white walkers take over? Or can white walkers and wights hop on ships over to Essos (or Southros) and do damage over

I got a lot hate last time for posting this but I hope the makers of this new Star Wars trilogy and related films get rid of the opening crawl. I think it locks the filmmakers into a certain type of storytelling / format. I just think it would be cool if we got a Star Wars with a cold open, or with non-linear editing.

Not trying to troll but admittedly a bit snarky. It just doesn't make sense to me. It just seems like it would make sense to ditch a monarchy along with other ties to a country if you claim independence from it.

You can say what you want about America, but we clearly made sure to sever the connection to England.

F on AV Club is sometimes better than a D. F means its so bad, you at least have to witness it.

I was thinking what a good point to break from the tradition of the opening crawl. It's become so hokey now and reeked of a flash gordon serial. Why not just have a cold open, signaling this is not your parent's star wars.

My friend always claimed to be Porkins cousin…the actor who played was in the Tim Burton Batman as Bullock I believe…

Seems like the ultimate insult to a Scandinavian.

Kevin Dunn - in Ghostbusters II.

I loves them too you know.

I always thought the raptors were going to show up because thats the only way that hand could be left like that. Makes sense now that I know it was part of the older script. Yeah, sloppy, but I stand by the author. JP gets the initial wonder and Jaws-like scares. But LW seemed to move at a faster, more fun clip. The

That never made sense

However, I always wondered how the T-Rex managed to eat the captain of the ship.
That never made sense to me.

I saw this when it came out and my first reaction was this was better than the first. It was more action packed and what more could you want than a T-Rex romping through the city (and eating a dog).
