All I was saying was, that they don’t do a very good job... at the ONE job they are supposed to be doing. Perhaps it’s a lack of manpower/training/equipment. There is one entity that does have all of that.

It begs the question then... what IS the military for anyway? If not to protect our country. I think the wall is dumb. But the police shouldn’t be enforcing our borders. They don’t have the capacity to (they aren’t doing a very good job either). But who does?

I read the article. Aside from the one provision that will allow VOLUNTARY participation, there are some extremely good things in this bill.
