I want so much better for Patty Spivot. Frankly, it would have been awesome if she were in the historian part.

Really, the profession that might actually work for this is a dramaturg: it's their job to know serious details about the world of the play, they know how to do intensive research on the fly, and they would have the expectation that each new project requires them to learn something new.

Dammit, man, I'm a DOCTOR, not a future cop!

That's part of why I use it to fall asleep. It freaks out my sister that I can fall asleep listening to stories of a Hungarian noblewoman torturing her servants, but he does have a really soothing voice.

I'm SO fucking excited for this. I love Lore so much, and this is going to be so good.

He was terrifyingly prolific—and that on top of modernizing the British postal service as a civil servant.

I got hired to sell Cutco the summer after I graduated from high school, back in 2008. I realized at the "interview" what it actually was, so I just never showed up to the training and dodged their calls until it was time to start college.

It definitely depends on the nature of the service and how it's set up. I would be far more comfortable hiring someone to clean my house that is part of a licensed and bonded agency than one of those super-cheap startups, because at least ostensibly there are regulations in place to protect the workers. As it is,

My dad sold Cutco back in the 80's, and he still had a pair of the scissors: when we were kids, he'd sometimes use them to cut a penny in half.

Hey, the Library of Congress has a really good cafeteria!

Underworked, and they failed to prove it.

That cannot be denied!

That's a fair point, but with at least some of that half a million dollars, I feel like he could have paid someone to give him mini-deadlines to stay on track.

I think the problem with Coco's routine, for me, was that it was so damned sincere: this is a drag show, bitch! Don't do treacly if you aren't also going to deliver some savage bite.

I'm excited to see that. I've seen some of her cosplay since she left the show, and at least in photographs, her looks have gotten a lot more skillful and interesting.

Laganja was always such a clueless bitch. I've heard she's less annoying live, but I would not pay a cover to see her.

Heads up, AVC writers: you take our Drag Race, and we will fucking RIOT.

Especially since so many of them are out to rehab their images—they can't afford to cross that line in viewer perception (especially not Phi Phi, the tired old showgirl).

I feel like Adalind and Rosalee have the potential to go all Jane and Petra with their friendship, and I want to see that SO BADLY.

I feel like it's going to just be one big "Great Job, Internet!" post after another.
