Me too! Many fond memories. I liked D&D quite a bit, but this was like “Finally! Science fiction!”

Those same races were in the original Spelljammer back in the 90s, so can't really blame Wizards here.
The entire conservative worldview depends on getting to kids BEFORE they learn to think for themselves, to mold them into one perspective, and keep them there so that they never learn to empathize with or understand others.
[pedantic]
Completely unrelated to D&D recycling old Star Frontiers races in the recent Spelljammer announcement, I’m sure. Seems less about WotC fighting for justice and more about protecting the IP they appropriated while it still belonged to another company.
From what I’ve read, it should be open and shut, because the new company doesn’t actually own the rights to Star Frontiers in the first place. They just bought the rights to the old TSR logo and it’s name. They don’t have any claim on the IP . Thus wizard’s can merrily use Star Frontiers races in D&D. The hate coming…
Ernie Gygax and Justin LaNasa are bigoted scumbags and their company reflects their values.
Star Frontier is a game set in space, that involves aliens (bugs, blobs, all the standard stuff). Trying to work in stereotypes about humans just seems like doing trying to do extra credit work for your bigotry.
Jeebus. I have fond memories of Star Frontiers back in the day, and what the leaked version describes is like a Nazi parody of what I remember. Truly appalling.
It won’t be the anti-GMO crowd that comes after Nestle, it will be the American Dairy Association. You know, the same people that are lobbying to legally prevent anything that doesn’t come out of a mammal from being labelled “milk”, and even wants to prevent it from being presented in the same cooler as dairy milk.…
Yum yum
Freedom for me, fiefdom for you.
Yeah the fact that there is now an actual Malk brand makes me laugh every time I see it at the grocery store.
Now with Vitamin R!
But for real though...
I always drink plenty of... malk?
Can’t wait to hear the backlash from the anti-GMO crowd on this and another animal-alternative products
Letting their kids think for themselves is the last thing conservatives want.
You know, if this worksheet was being used in first grade, then they have a point. Six-year-olds don’t even have the vocabulary to understand the concept....
Forget all of that. Cockroach milk is the milk of the future!
Perfect Day is the same tech that Brave Robot uses in their “ice cream”. I have tried it, and it was ... fine? It tasted more or less like “real” dairy, but not quite as rich as some of the more premium brands. If the liquid milk is similar, I would give it a try in my coffee or cooking.
