Thank you for the helpful response. I think you make a good point that mental health issues following a rape are not inevitable. And I'm guessing in his case, it has a lot to with the fact that he never considered it a rape. He thinks of himself as having had some agency in the incident. Maybe that has helped him to…
Hey there Jezzies. I have a big question tonight. Hoping someone can help me with this.
Jezzies, I need help!!
Mesmerizing. Her (fake) ass is so fun to watch. Song is ehh. But she mentioned tossed salads! Bonus points!
Yes! I was wondering why her smile after the tossed salad line looked so creepy. I realized it's because her eyes are totally dead.
Hey! My mom was a landscape architect! I don't really have any advice, since I'm sure the field has changed loads since she was working. But she had a great public sector job that she loved - and never had to be stuck in the office. Congrats!
I also didn't know that. Totally gonna have to read it now - seems much more my cup of tea.
Almost everything in this article reminds me of how homosexuality was discussed before the 1960s. Maybe demonizing people's desires and treating them as monsters to be punished is the problem. Having certain desires is totally different from having abusive, non-consensual sex. The important thing to realize is that…

"This is how they respond when their citizens, their own community, stand up and ask them to answer questions about the shooting of an unarmed teenager."
Has anyone here experienced getting catcalled while having a PDA moment with your partner? It happens occasionally to my boyfriend and I; the general vibe I get is "Yeah man, get that ass!" Like they're helping themselves to a porn or something. So creepy.
True, those are good points. The one time my boyfriend and I tried it I didn't last more than a minute - it was so uncomfortable. Better options for women (including for BC) are definitely much needed.
To be fair, there are also female condoms...
The film Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired is definitely worth watching. His trial was far from fair, and anyone who claims it was has drank the witch hunting kool-aid.
Ugh, I'm so sorry to hear this. It sounds like he was a very special guy.
Have you watched the BBC Sherlock Holmes series? Whatever funk you're in, this will get you out of it, because you'll basically forget your life and be completely sucked in. I just watched it with my mom in her hospital bed, and it cheered us up immensely.
Hi there, hoping I can cheer you up with my story. A similar thing once happened to me. I was 19, had been in a relationship with this piece of shit for only a few months, but it was my first love, and we were crazy about each other, yadda yadda yadda. Next thing I know, he gets drunk at a party at his school, and…
I have almost the same thing - except I wouldn't call this girl my "friend" exactly. We are in a lot of the same social situations because we're in the same political group, so at this point we can't really avoid each other unless one of us changes our politics (and it's NOT going to be me). But she has a major…
Definitely a problem. Also I think the reason it's so discouraged is because it's so much more convenient and safe for women (no side effects and it's free), but men are slightly inconvenienced in that they can't come inside you and have to actually prepare for that.
