“Kristen Schaal is a genius”
Nor even the folks living in predominantly Catholic areas of Ireland?
I’ve long wondered what her career would have been like if she’d been born 20 years later, where even if she’d done equivalent things, society’s views on mental illness had changed enough so that her actions would have been understood as they are now.
Not really. This film is meant to be seen squarely from his perspective, before the internet and before the news/photos of the real toll had been accounted for. You are in the psyche of a singular character, not really zoomed out. We all know what happened, the point of the movie isn’t to go over it per se.
These two things can be true:
I’ll draw your attention to this interview with Samuel L Jackson and a British reporter on Colin Farrell:
Look at me with a straight face and tell me Pan’s Labyrinth isn’t good.
She looks like a woman in her early/mid forties, and a very good-looking one at that, with a short haircut. If you’re wondering what happened to her, she is a human woman who ages just like every other human woman. If you think she looks like a man, I don’t know who you’re looking at.
Aryan vs. Predator.
I’m a brown communist and I blame his racism on capitalism.
Stop blaming mental health. He's just an awful, racist, shitty person
At this point, given this has gone on for years regardless of whatever treatment he is or isn’t getting at the time, it’s pretty clear whatever mental health issues he has don’t have anything to do with having his shitty views. All they seem to do is affect just how vocally he’s currently expressing those shitty views.
Obligatory stolen scene (and one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on any screen):
The responses here are fucking gross. Excusing domestic violence is never ever OK.
Yes, I beat my wife every time she steps out on me and I am justified.
What Better Call Saul needs is more proactive, vigilant fans who will keep those filthy casuals away. Tell em that they’re not real fans. Make sure they know that they’re watching tv wrong. Bunch of posers, am I right?
“You are no different than the conservatives who had the likes of George Carlin put in jail”
“The more you say I can’t say something, the more urgent it is for me to say it. It has nothing to do with what you’re saying I can’t say.”
I sure hope this multi-millionaire can recover from the oppression of having young people saying his dated opinions and beliefs are bullshit.
