Christmas Island is great. I've been listening to Linda Ronstadt on repeat for the past month. It's difficult to rank the albums, because they're all pretty solid and all hit just when I needed them to.

The shotgun in his hands made me uncomfortable. I didn't think he would turn and fire on the partygoers, or on himself, or into the air at random - except for the part of me that did. That it could come back to haunt him later on didn't occur to me, but now it's a possible fear.

I think Jared seems pretty well adjusted, all things considered - he comes across more 'sensitive' than angsty. It makes sense that Daniel's striking out on his own more and more, but I miss his season 1 interactions with his siblings.
