As much as I am generally opposed to remakes of everything, Gossip Girl was one of humanity’s finest achievements, so I’m intrigued by this and will watch.

I had the EXACT SAME argument with someone on Facebook! Setting aside how repulsive pageants are entirely, even if she did violate her contract, there was no reason to be a huge douche to her about it, which he clearly was. I’ve been obsessed with her (and some other powerful royal ladies) since childhood and try to read every book about her that crosses my path. I wish she hadn’t abruptly ended her Memoirs. I was in maybe 4th or 5th grade and we had to read a biography of some historical person and do a whole project on them…

There’s a Facebook beauty group with like, a few thousand members that is pretty fun/useful (and not without drama). I think you have to request to be added, but it’s not like, elite or whatever. They are very, VERY strict about positvity, which makes it a pretty safe place.

Yeah, “family sitcoms” I enjoy are...Arrested Development and Bob’s Burgers. Those count, right? Definitely going to be motivated to try Black-ish upon hearing this, though.
