The thing is grown ups working together for the children of the group should not trump keeping your child safe. Mateo HIT her child. He wasn't left out because he karate chopped a cake, or threw carrots. He was being rejected for being physical.

Yes, but it's not the job of other parents to have a kid who misbehaves at their home or their party, especially when the kid's parents aren't overtly disciplining him. Right now, the birthday boy has been hit by Mateo and Jane thinks that an apology note, that Jane wrote because Mateo can't write yet, should be…
That did bother me as well.
They can be blond and be Rafael's. Blond can be a recessive gene, so if there is someone in Rafe's family who was blond he can carry it. Since we know nothing about his biological family, It's possible. Plus, unless they do a HUGE retcon we saw Petra inseminate herself while not having relations with anyone, so I…
Well, I'm sure they are getting Rafe and Jane together, and I hate it. Maybe they can sell me on it, eventually, but right not I do not want!
I do agree that The Originals is better than TVD. I disagree on Supernatural. It's still one of the highest rated shows on the CW. More people enjoy it than most of the rest of the schedule, so keeping it on is fine. I have zero interest in watching people scheme to win Survivor, but tons of people enjoy it, so I'm…
At one point, Perl said all Gems could shapeshift, indicting she has the ability, she just doesn't do it for some reason. Now that was before we met Peridot and learned that lack of resources is making Gems have less abilities than earlier ones, so Peridot may not be able to shapeshift.
The only thing that doesn't track with this theory is that Bonnie did want to be Annalise's attorney. She wanted Annalise to get someone else. I'm thinking we get one murder per customer, so Bonnie may be off the table, although it is character consistent for her to do it again. I just can't see her risking Annalise…
Well they handwaved it by saying "That's the last of the rifles" so we're supposed to think they got them all.
It's pretty much the most enjoyable one right now.
This one makes me sad. B5 was underappreciated when it was on and still is, except by people like me who love it. It still is one of the best shows out there.
That makes sense. It's been more than 5000 years, because Ruby and Sapphire fused before the rebellion and before Pink Diamond was shattered. Plus Blue is still grieving deeply, It's unlikely she's being analytical about which Sapphire and Ruby are in her presence. Besides, why would the rebel Ruby and Sapphire (who…
The only time I thought there was racial coding was in Bismuth. With the dreadlocks and the stereotypical "Black American" accent, it was hard to not see Bismuth as being coded as black. Other than that, I don't see racial coding on any of the Gems.
Because Blue and Green = white?
Yes, because favoring one potential lesbian couple over another is somehow "queerbaiting". My understanding is that a certain vocal contingent thinks the only real lesbian couple is Amidot. Lapidot doesn't count, although I don't understand why.
I don't know anything about the BTS story, but I do know that a certain contingent of fans was appalling to Zuke because she believes in Lapidot.
I really enjoyed this episode. I admit, as soon as I heard the have to find the guy by midnight deadline, I immediately remembered a Cagney and Lacey episode with the same idea of the statute of limitations running out and them using the out of the country extension to be able to arrest the perp. I don't know if it's…
True. OTOH, my sister was a Cindy up until she decided that she felt more like a Cyndee when she was about 14.
Well all this did happen when they were the same age Jack was when they were born. In fact, most of it happens on or really close to their birthdays which was also his birthday. That kind of thing can resonate.
I don't know. Phil didn't say he was a terrible actor, just that he wasn't projecting the proper menace in this role. That does happen some times. Actor chemistry of all sorts sometimes can't be assessed until you are in the middle of shooting.
