Good to know about the reruns. HIMYM was one of my favorite comedies, which is saying a lot since I'm not big on comedies. After the finale I can't even think about watching reruns. It just doesn't work for me, knowing how it ended. It's too bad because early HIMYM had some great, funny episodes.

Oh definitely.

Yeah, I got tired of GG just a few seasons in. Lorelei's and Rory's quirks and sense of entitlement finally became too much for me and I booked.

This! I hated when she cheated with Dean and hearing (I didn't watch the revival) that she is having an affair with an attached Logan strikes me a very wrong too.

In her interview Jodie Whittaker said this isn't her Doctor outfit, so it could change to be more interesting.

This is really a case where the power imbalance is just wrong. I don't know any woman who would take a mere 24 hours to decide they want a kid that they will never remember for more than 24 hours. Are we really supposed to think that she woke up one mornings and thought "I don't remember you, but I want to have your

Exactly. And thank goodness she got all that nonsense out of her system so she could become the wife Ted always wanted </sarcasm>.

We could note that "shotgun" marriages come from a culture that frowns on divorce, even if the husband is beating the wife. Cultural imperatives can be a lot to get over. It doesn't mean the marriage is good or even healthy, it just means the people involved have no way to get out and remain a part of the society they

Either of those would have worked, although ending in season 5 would have been the better one, IMHO. Basically they didn't see the chemistry between Barney and Robin coming, and that would have been hard to overcome, although early in the run, I would have bought that they tried and it didn't work out. Making ALL of

Domestic abuser and alcoholic, at least when Tracy divorced him. I hate the entire message of Philadelphia Story, even though I see the incredible chemistry between Grant and Hepburn. I still HATE the basic story.

No, Jody was. She started back in season five and has been on one episode per season since then. Charlie came on in season 7.

Plus the President was intelligent enough to take and believe the shadow test and self-sacrificial enough to kill himself to try and escape the program. Does not compute!

I haven't seen this episode yet, but if they are really moving back to Jane/Rafael endgame, I'm done. I miss Michael, and I've accepted his death, but the show hasn't been clicking with me since he died. I don't CARE about Rafael/Jane so this just isn't going to go in a way that will make me happy.

Exactly! It isn't even as if they were at odds when he left Daxem. At that time he bought into her mindset. So he didn't hate her, or think she should die or anything. He just grew up while he was on earth, but she's still his mom.

She got back with Rose after Rose kidnapped Mateo and after Rose killed her and Rafael's father. Her taking Rose back resulted in Michael being shot which ended with Michael dying. Plus she keeps falling off the wagon. I wouldn't want her near my kids either.

If Alice and Quentin could leave, I would think Maykovsky could as well. He was being kept there by magic in order to be allowed to continue to practice magic. With magic gone, there should be nothing keeping him there. Basically, once you answer the question of how the heck did A&Q get back home, Maykovsky just used

The fairies may give them a reason to stay in Fillory. Also, with magic gone, can the people who are in Fillory leave Fillory? I mean going in and out was based on magic, so aren't they stuck there? Finally, I can't see Elliot and even Margot simply abandoning his daughter. There are legitimate ties to Fillory for

I have heard that it flopped on WGN. I didn't know about how it did in the UK. I do know WGN gave them $3 million per episode in the initial deal. I don't think they will get that much again, but as long as the current deal runs, CBS has reasons to keep Elementary around.

A year ago I would have agree. This season isn't really catching me for some reason.

Well, they were crystal clear when they kept Elementary and cancelled Person of Interest that Elementary is making buckets of money in international sales and syndication. Basically ratings don't matter, because they are making money elsewhere, the commercials are just gravy. There is a good chance Elementary will be
