Never watch his Extreme Fishing show in which he totally confirms that he is a better actor than a man.
But he really is a great actor.

I mean, he is Australian.

For me it was the scene with the embroidery and the sweet phone call last week which really enlivened Shayla and gave depth to her character.
This is really good, effective (manipulative - in a good way?) writing.
Bye Shayla, thanks Frankie Shaw for the acting.

Absolutely everything.

Oh brilliant catch. I find I never pay enough attention for this show. I can't wait to buy he blu-ray and obsess over the detail.

If anything Shayla's death is going to disempower Elliot, not bullshittingly motivate his man-pain-power, which is for why the term exists.

Just to add that Portia Doubleday's face when Eliiot said what he said has quietened all my reservations about her abilities. It was such a lovely moment between two people who have loved each other for a long time.

But he is her boyfriend so that makes sense.

He was even great in Night at the Museum movies and no I haven't watched all of them.

This is awesome!

I liked Slater's moment of hesitation when he heard Darlene was in with the goons. Mr Robot seemed surprised and immediately backed away from the scorched earth tactic.
I have a melodramatic soul so I think Mr Robot is Darlene's pa. I dunno, after everything that happened tonight I am heartsick, and Real-or-not-Real

When I was a child I would always(!) read Ingmar as Ingrid and get really confused and enthused by any discussion of Bergman films (It's a female director!..wait?) and by every reviewer's conceit in talking about the actor director.

Abos? That there son is MIGHTY racist.

Y'know, it's not that bad over here.

NO.
This is a great show. At least Cinemax is unwilling to flog it to death?

I dunno - in my country you date to get know someone. And if someone finds it creepy, they should definitely say no.
I like things to be explicated instead of relying on signals or social conventions which everyone might define in various ways. If you think there is something there, ask and clarify instead of assume.

I love squashed beef!

You know more about Dolarhyde than me; I haven't read the books. If the rape is part of his character, then yes eliminating it completely is problematic. For me, knowing what little I know, having the sexual violence stated not depicted is okay.

No, in Australia and yes it was awesome. I think I'm going to float this idea to my local pub and watch their faces turn in horror and fear.

I have never wanted to be perilously caught in a sand storm more in my life!
