Yeah and Wellick pretty much confessed to seeing himself as a Mr Robot.

(That’s a big part of what makes Scenic Routes valuable to me, and hopefully to you. Close analysis chips away at a vague thesis.)
I find this to one of the best features on the site.
I really like that aspect of writing, where you end up surprised, by discovering indecision in something decided and vice versa.

Isn't he an ape?

But the point was about exploits - Elliot destroyed Bill, he didn't just offend or berate him. He tapped into hidden fault lines.
And Malek projects this sweetness as Elliot that it would have been unnerving to have him blast you. It's as much the unexpectedness as the brutal content of the abuse.

Hey, just wanted to say that I completely disagree with your assessment of the show but it is interesting that you have your reaction.

Whether he deserved it or not, whether he is responsible or not (and no one denies his culpability) nothing can ever erase Angela's responsibility.
Two acts, one through incompetence and immorality; the other through self-preservation and calculation. They are what they are.

No she totally did frame him. She used his id, his computer.
Did his indiscreet actions make them vulnerable to the attack? Yes, but no one is above the fray. I think this is what the show is discussing, in these times where the personal is becoming weaponised, what is morality?

It was Wellick's glass that he put within her reach.

It's an inhuman love.

She is self-interested, not selfish. And if we are to parse what we know of her character, then this is a new thing for her.
Though she has been shown to be concerned with/having money problems.

Yes, nice match up of writer and show.

Elliot and the fsociety are so cruel. Alex touched on this, but their use of people's connections to other people in order to achieve their intellectualised goals is very frightening.
If I may speak for all of us, the pilot's defeat of the big, ugly corporation was a wish fulfilment. I think this show is making the

Dude. Even in your comment, making fun of me, I was reading it 'marital'.
Newly discovered blindspot. Thanks.

And was the air-conditioning unit al-dream something something?
This show is too fast and smart for me! I love it.
EDIT: read the review!

The actor was solid. Legitimately one of the saddest, most disturbing things I've seen on TV. And I watch Hannibal and Penny Dreadful.
Kudos actor, kudos.

We had just emigrated to Australia, (my parents are from Sri Lanka), my uncle and aunt had lived in that part of London so we as a family sat down to watch the movie. I was 12 or so and I remember asking my parents what the two men were doing when they were kissing having never even known THAT WAS POSSIBLE! And then

That is awesome!

Yes, absolutely angry at the Mason character. It was an intra-textual criticism.

I felt Chiyo had learnt her lessons very well - she manipulates Hannibal. She tossed Will off a train (unfortunately not a sexual euphemism) because he only knows violence. Caging Hannibal was her intention all along. She doesn't fire to save Hannibal or Will, just Jack. Her's has been the quiet, silent hand above all

Dude was a polymath, what to do?
