Unless you have sponsor money or your dad owns the team.

As a former Monster owner and total Ducati fanboy...I have to say this redesign is a war crime.

Bring a Trailer is not the real market. I'm convinced that "sales" like this one and the $250,000 E30 M3 are rich guys laundering money.

Bring A Trailer”, because “Launder Money” would have been obvious.

There is a witticism in programming circles, you dont hire 9 women and expect a baby in one month.  Fred Brooks in the 60s ( Mythical Man Month ) came up with the proverb “Adding programmers to a late project makes it later”.

I remember when you guys used to give real, plausible suggestions, seems like now this topic has devolved into some weird jalopnik contest to see which writer can pat themselves on the back for giving the most obscure response.

Good advice. My thoughts:

Gold slathered? I r dissapoint. Just touches of gold... looks better than chrome in the same spots I guess with the rest of the interior. It's fairly tasteful.... but I'm terrified of helicoptors so I won't be buying this.

Labor? These blokes are paid handsomely to play a game. They should check their privilege.

the only way to make ICE/Diesel environ friendly is making synthetic gas or bio-diesel. There isn’t enough space for the latter and the former isn’t a viable solution as yet.  And we have to start reducing CO2 emissions *now*.

If you did any research you’d know that this almost never happens. Teslas push 200k easily on the original battery pack. At 80-85% of original capacity? Sure. But that’s still plenty. Find a new ignorant talking point, maybe.

How are these ‘deals’ when they are priced similar to the rest of the i3's on the market?

Bmw warranty’s the battery for 8 years and will replace it for free if the capacity drops below some number in the 80’s. 83% sticks out in my head.

Nor is tesla trying to compete with Honda or toyota so, there’s that....

I hear a lot of people complain about charging times, but I think most would change their minds when they realized that oftentimes it’s free. I’d much prefer to spend an hour charging and save $60+.

The internet is no place to be rational.

I can’t think of a single time where I drove over 300 miles and didn’t stop for at least 20 minutes to use a washroom and eat a sandwich. Sometimes I drive about 300 miles one sitting, but I’m not happy about it and a break would have been most welcome.

not likely, but it it is a big mental stumbling block for a lot of people w/r/t BEVs.  “What if I have to take a long drive?”  Gas stations are everywhere and it takes about 5 minutes to fill your tank.  if you look at a map you’ll see Tesla strategically placed Supercharger stations along highways for just this

I watch touring car racing in Australia.

I am no longer curious about what a hippopotamus ballet would provide as entertainment.
