I’m not a huge F1 fan and I watched it. I thought it was great. Bringing more of the back story made me want to follow the 2019 series.

Correct. And, the problem is not delivery or transport, but service/maintenance. Kia dealers in other states won’t be able to service them. Granted, EV service is near-zero, so you’re fine until there’s a recall or warranty issue.
