Yeah, it raises an interesting question, and I’m sure this will keep coming up with more and more “service” games in the future. But if you bought vanilla Destiny 2 on PC (which came out in late October), you had less than a month and a half with this stuff before it locked you out. That’s kinda nuts.

The Baron doesn’t have a good ending ... they both suck

Drove me nuts they were seen as some kind of heroic superwomen come to save the day from the evil of the GOP and restore compassion and decency on the right.

Her “all this does is restore the freedom to choose” bullshit is right out of the GOP healthcare playbook.

So can we finally stop acting like Murkowski is some kind of mighty heroine who stood firm against the dastardly forces of the GOP when they tried to hurt countless Americans by destroying their ability to afford decent healthcare.

I would think the title would give it away, but okay.

Lot of people missing the point in these comments.

I don’t know. Lots of my fellow liberals tend to care more about changing a flag or a symbol instead of trying to change the behavior or injustice that symbol represents. “Tiny, symbolic steps and declare victory?”

That’s some good creepypasta.

“Just Big Steps Or Don’t Even Bother”

Wait, you mean people that actually believe what is obviously bronze-age mythology sprinkled with a healthy does of fear of the “other” throughout all its teachings aren’t gonna have the most nuanced views on race?

I hadn’t thought about carving up Cowboy Bebop up before, but I would probably go with the Faye episodes then. While Spike’s storyline is great, I think it really benefits from having all of the stand-alone episodes there to space it out (and flesh out Spike’s behavior). Faye’s episodes are great and form a wonderful

That sort of reminds me of how I felt watching Person of Interest. In that show, and Cowboy Bebop, I think you have a slow start, and yes a pastiche of other things, and yet you have that (in both cases I suppose) something that takes those influences and characters and ends up being something far more special than

I suppose you are right about Evangelion. I still loved it, and it seems tonally more in line with Akira, being deconstructionist as well as going to some pretty dark philosophical places.

FWIW, I may actually check out Gurren Lagann and the Gundum compilation movies. I’ve only ever seen Gundam Wing in its entirety. I

Agreed. If I recall correctly, that’s where they begin weaving in the serial aspect of the show. Even before that, the show was a lot of fun, however “Ballad of Fallen Angels” is probably where it started to get serious and really caught on to me.

I would also say that the ability of the show to have different themes

Although I also gave Cowboy Bebop a college try and never really took to it, I will say that Sean’s model is a bit flawed if he can just bail on something. I mean, let’s take the term literally and pretend this is a college course and you’ve been assigned something. You can’t just stop reading Pride and Prejudice

I didn’t want to be “that guy,” but if you don’t make it to “Ballad of Fallen Angels” (the fifth episode), you’re not really giving Cowboy Bebop a fair shake.

What about buying the games that you would use on it?

Honestly I think it’s all due to that hair cut.
