You’d be surprised! I’ve made avocado fudge and cakes and pies with avocado. People love them and are always surprised at that ingredient.

I’m definitely interested in that avocado pudding recipe if it’s the milk + avocado + “two tiny teaspoons of sugar” thing she keeps eating this season (but I’m sure my blender and I can figure it out all on our own).

I can understand the motivation there, but it could also backfire. If professors were open about bumping grades, then that could lead to women’s credentials being doubted out in the professional world. With a political campaign that makes perfect sense though since money more or less equals exposure.

That would make sense. Although didn’t T-rump say at some point he would run as an independent candidate if he didn’t get the Republican party nomination? Thinking about it though, even then that would detract from the Conservative vote so Clinton would be the clear winner.... You’re on to something here!

It is interesting though that they tended to give more (in some cases, a lot more) to Clinton than to Fiorina. Ideology (or at least their opinion of electability) has to matter somewhat or they’d be giving equal amounts to both campaigns.

Me neither, but hearing about his animal sanctuary and his support of his wife’s dreams and how he’s spending his money and time now... loving that whole package.

Yes, I would hate to say a victim isn’t believable because of mental illness, drug abuse, anything people find unsavory, etc but from what I know of her on TV, I feel like it wouldn’t be below her to use this as a chance for publicity. However, she did say on Teen Mom OG (I love that whole series, sorrynotsorry)

Imagining the place those lyrics must have come from brought tears to my eyes.

Aw. Honestly, I like the name. I think it fits with North too and how important kids/family are to them both. I don’t really know anything about Pete Wentz, but do he and Kim + Kanye really move in the same circles anyhow?

I did see one of the models on TV talking about how she’d planned her whole day of eating for the day after the show, starting with a French toast sandwich, so I guess it’s a thing :/ It bums me out to think of what they put their bodies through and then the binge cycle.

Not the point, but post-show Jon Stewart beard = YUM.

Even if that wasn’t his intention, it certainly feels like that’s what’s happening. I keep imagining there will be some House of Cards-style behind closed doors meeting of key members of the RNC where they stage his untimely death.

I was living in Scotland when he first announced his candidacy and my in-laws were like, “Donald Trump is running for president?” *eyebrow raise* (PS they rarely care about politics or world events so the fact that even they had a negative reaction...) My response was something like, “He always does this. It’s

That’s a really great point. Getting to a place where you can do this yourself (or if you severed all the ties in the beginning, realize you don’t know what they’re doing and are okay with it) is part of the emotional journey of a break up.

Shirt cocking.

I’m definitely at a point where I can only bring myself to skim the news.

Damn, I wish the Scotland meet ups had not occurred at bad times for me (right before my dissertation was due and then the day before my wedding) but I am now back in the US and not missing the weather, but am super crazy missing my husband who is still there while we work out visa stuff. Have fun in Glasgow and enjoy

I got a temporary job with the state government, which doesn’t totally solve my problems (I just moved back to the US to find work so we can be all set up to apply for my husband to immigrate here) but means money will be coming in in January—right when my student loan payments begin in full. This sounds kind of

I had a margarita at a Mexican restaurant with my stepdad and his girlfriend. I knew my mom was having her guy (I don’t know what to call him) over but I came home and they were sitting on the couch watching Drumline 2. Wtf. I didn’t want to go to bed because it was only just past 9 so I sat there awkwardly with them

My mom told me she was considering not voting because she hated all of the candidates. This is totally not like her at all. Then she turned around and said she kind of liked Marco Rubio so she might vote for him if she got the chance. Maybe I should not press the issue and hope she doesn’t vote.
