I will fight you to the death to defend that dress’s honor! (Or passionately disagree with you in a nonviolent way.)
I’m fine with him staying in through the final few primaries, but I agree, he needs to tone it down. I understand that he never considered the Democratic Party as anything more than a rental, but he shouldn’t be ripping up the floor boards as his lease expires.
The person who is against feminism and thinks it’s important to sunbathe her vagina?
The point isn’t to succeed, it’s to fail and say “We tried to protect the children but the evil liberals are so determined to kill them all, oh if only we had more money and could keep being reelected.”
Just last week they “sent legislation to President Obama that eliminates remaining use of words like ‘Oriental’ and ‘Negro’ in federal law.”
Might this be a Cannes thing? I feel like almost every year I’ve heard about at least one film getting booed there. Perhaps it’s a tradition; something that’s been happening since the festival began?
I think the question was directed more at the notion that a baby’s chest doesn’t need to be covered in the way that an older girl’s or adult woman’s would beed to be covered in public. Like, we could just put kids in a swim diaper and bikini bottoms regardless of sex/gender, but we’re conditioned to want to cover up…
Jesus, no. WTF. I’m saying that we’re all too steeped in a culture that tolerates a lot of fuckery where older men and younger women are concerned, and it needs to stop. I think the outrage was over the fact that it looked out of place. It would be like if I’d shown up to defend my dissertation in a club dress. I was too pregnant for my good suit so I wore a work dress I could wear to an interview but it didn’t look out of place. That said, I’ve seen many “professional” and “academic”…
well yea that’s the point — if one of these two very different industries must require fingerprinting and licensing, then i wouldn’t pick strippers first
Good god, stop it. You’re just straight-up lying.
Protip: paragraph breaks will make it seem a bit less like you’re in a cult.
Counterpoint: they are brilliantly funny.
I grew up with KitH and The State. I also really enjoy K&P.
Nothing wrong with liking cats... I make sure to always carry one with me
The joke is supposed to be at the expense of action movies where the heroes are on a quest to save the damsel in distress. This movie is making fun of that by putting a cat in the damsel role and turning the hyper-masculine heroes into cat daddies.
If someone was going to found a cult based on Divine, it would sure be better than this.
