Yea, maybe he would do endurance races. Or something else, but only stock cars just cause thats what he's used to. And probably only for fun, to keep things interesting. I'd imagine he'd do it more for fun as opposed to actually trying to win. Maybe he'll try LeMans. That would be cool.

I just think when people think of open air racing like Grand Prix, they think of the classic European winners like Ferrari and Porsche. And I think most Jalopnik readers are more Grand Prix fans compared to NASCAR fans.

Yea. I didnt know Busch had that goal. Maybe thats what the new guys will have to shoot for.

I'm not the biggest NASCAR fan, so take what I say with a grain of salt. But honestly, I don't see him jumping ship for a couple of reasons. First, he hasn't been dominate for the past three seasons. He did five in a row, lost two seasons, and won this one. So he does have the challenge and feels the challenge.

Bitches get stitches...?

Also I looked it up and apparently there is a maximum age of 25 that you can be to play college basketball. Which is bullshit.

When he got sent to the Cavs, I remember thinking that LeBron prob felt like a kid in school who sleeps in a little late and flunks a math test and then his parents DEMAND he get a tutor.

That one year one team idea sounds fun.

His crew chief, Chad Knaus, is one of the best. He has gotten in trouble with the rules, but he's smart and a good leader.

I'm 1/4 of the way through his autobiography. I HIGHLY recommend it. Funny, motivating, humbling. The book has it all.

Ok let's say there's another NBA lockout and LeBron says fuck it and decides to join a college team. Could he join, like Harvard's team or some other shitty D 1 team and win the tourney in one year?

Good points- it is much tougher today. Which is why I don't think its even possible to break Petty's 200 win record.

Yea. I think there's a "stock car" bias here. Jalopnik are car guys it seems like- they like the big, fast and furious. I can see where NASCAR loses some of its appeal because they use civilian company cars (Ford, Chevy, Toyota) as opposed to the racing giants (Ferrari, Porsche, etc.). Also NASCAR has a lot of

Was it the Richmond thing or other stuff? I didn't keep up with the season like I have in the past. What would you have changed?

Was looking over the numbers- JJ has finished his 13th season. Dale E made it to 26 seasons, "The King" Petty did 35. JJ is gonna win at least 10 championships, I could see him making it up to 12-13. JJ also has 66 career wins; it wouldn't be crazy to say he could double it to 120 by the time he's done. That would put

Cheryl Scott!!! Marry ME!

One nice thing about all of this is the amount of pretty newscaster time I've been getting this morning. NBC 5 is doing quite well.

There's not enough good raised-relief map jokes around anymore.

Lots of other people have made good points. I will offer this one- the idea that winning one more game DOES matter. Football, at all levels, is a short season when you look at games. You probably average 15 games a season from high school to NFL. There are tons of examples of the better team losing- The Giants

I dont get it..Help?
