Hell yes.
Hell yes.
Fun story: Singapore is unique among former colonial states in how it gained it’s independence. Once the British relinquished it, it was part of Malaysia, which makes sense, if you look at a map. However, the people in Singapore were so impossible to deal with that Malaysia expelled Singapore from the country.
It’s pretty much that - someone slipped you something, or you had only one drink but didn’t know that a medication you were on severely amplified the effect, or you had that one condition that all hospital shows eventually feature where your body automatically processes sugar into alcohol without you ever knowing it.
Fuck that, if you are driving drunk and hit people it is attempted murder.
It’s the latest in streaming technology. The sequel is available before the movie is completed.
Guys, for real: if we want a Man from U.N.C.L.E sequel, let’s just petition to get his twin brother to take over the role. Haven’t seen him do anything since Social Network and never understood why.
There are a few movies I hold in my heart as the platonic ideal of film, and this is one of them. I actually just rewatched it last week and it still grabs me from frame one and doesn’t let go until the credits roll.
I think it’s epicly underappreciated film. Fun, stylish and really well acted. Few films in this series would be really something.
yeah we’re getting that and the nice guys 2 as a double feature any day now.

I had an uncle that got a new car every couple of years. He made a lot of money working steel on skyscrapers in Philly. He was single and always bought top-of-the-line cars. My parents were relatively poor, but every other car, it seemed, ended up in our driveway... Thank you Uncle Bill, I know you took a loss when…
You folks didn’t go back far enough, being a grandparent, as I started out with a 47 Hudson for $80 when I was 15. As a teen , besides motorcycles, I also had a 55 Ford with a T-Bird engine then A 1956 Buick which I loved. Nowadays it’s an all black Mustang convertible. Had a car or 2 in every decade since the 50's. …
I’m older than most of you at 81, my best dad’s car was a 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser with the big Lincoln engine and a push button transmission. It was all white with gold inserts on its concave fins. Of course it had back slanted electric roll down rear window and the low hung quad headlights too. It totally…
Yeah, there are only so many pants that can be darkened...
Would have liked the Lindelof thing to have just done a more interesting story about the police, racism, and Oklahoma with original characters instead of playing with Alan’s old toys.
There is some fascinating capitalization going on in that image.
Blade? More like Belayed
I think South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut is parodying stage musicals, not Disney musicals. Isn’t “La Resistance,” and the French boy who sings it, a pretty clear play on Les Miserables?
Yeah I got that as well. I also don’t do well with anything involving hurt children now that I’m a parent. I recently started reading Berserk for the first time and I can see why it’s so well loved but it’s a hard read for me.
Business Ghoul *has a legal duty to profit her shareholders*. If it will be cheaper to pay out a few families of burn victims than to redesign the bumper and fuel tank, then that is what she must do. See the Pinto fire fiasco, and for your amusement,
