I took a look back at Doctor Who (the revival) S3 and it’s a banger. It has “Blink,” widely acknowledged as one of the very best episodes since the show’s return as well as an outstanding three-part finale (“Utopia,” “The Sound of Drums,” and “Last of the Time Lords”).

I was torn in that debate until I remembered Vin helped give us Escape from Butcher Bay on Xbox. Oh, and that Street Sharks commercial.

I saw your comment and wondered if the Elton John song was still the most popular Disney movie song on Billboard. Nope, the “Encanto” song took the top spot. LMM at his most annoying. Kind of surprised to see "Let It Go" was only #4.

I never enjoyed ‘Scooby-Doo’, so its popularity has always mystified me. I’m not entirely sympathetic to the people who were turned off by ‘Velma’ and it’s go at edginess - I have a similar distaste for what ‘Blood and Honey’ does to Winnie the Pooh - but I was  a little shocked at the depth of feeling.

There already was a Sexy Teen Drama Shaggy; his name was Xander.

Same on Bullet Train. It’s basically John Wick...on a train. Weird underground codes of conduct, everyone knows who each other is, etc. Probably wouldn’t seek it out again, but enjoyable enough for in-flight entertainment.

Wicked Little Letters is the best movie I’ve seen in a theatre this year.
In it’s own way, I’d bet it’s raunchier than this.

I mean bullet train wasn’t good, Pitt is the main reason there, and even though I like all involved in this, i’ve heard it doesn’t all mesh with the forced romance and bad plot, so it doesn’t interest me, and I watched the original show, can’t remember anything about it except Steve Austin showed up and a blonde…

I could see him owning a meadery, and giving you a quest to steal a mead recipe from those damned Black-Briars, or maybe just take them out so that he no longer has to deal with their dominance over the mead trade. Also, having the real Thurl Ravenscroft voice an Elder Scrolls dragon or a Daedric entity would have…

I hope the set builders on The Gentleman were paid double for all the scenery he absolutely chewed through. Hugh as scumbag Fleet Street tabloid hack? Oh, boy.

Reminds me of when a director, who’s only feature film was Monster, was tapped to direct a Wonder Woman movie. That movie worked out great. Plus this this time, I have more faith in Gunn and his writing crew than anyone on the Snyderverse.

And then there’s his most recent film Dumb Money, a hugely fun romp even if it was forced to come off as horribly naive about Elon Musk as its source material.
