Take the flag representing enslavement down from the state capitol building and all you have is a government, which represents both descendants of enslavers and descendants of the enslaved, declaring itself against enslavement.

You are a supreme dildo.
This is a badly constructed straw man argument; Tim Hunt didn’t do anything near as bad as mauling a child, and nobody would ever compare him to a dog.
Well, that, or we need to stop caring about the Hall of Fame...
I think it was pretty obvious ‘Would you have been a slave” meant “Would you have been a slave in the antebellum American South.”
Damn. (Although I don’t know why I’m so surprised; in a way, it’s exactly the kind of a thing an organization like Birthright would do...)
I know hundreds of people who have done Birthright and nobody, from people who are barely Jewish to devout Jews, had an experience like that. I’m not calling bullshit, exactly, but...
Just because people are making far too much hay over the choice of Jenner doesn’t mean ESPN’s decision isn’t, on some level, exploitative. We can agree on that, yes?
Your life sounds rad.
Scorching take!
Talking to yourself again?

u r bad @ logic
I’m getting the feeling that maybe Western, liberal society isn’t for you. I don’t think you’re adult enough to handle the responsibility...
Yeah, actually, that’s EXACTLY what it means. You get to say (within reason) basically whatever you want about anybody. That’s the whole friggin’ point of liberal societies.
My favorite anecdote on this topic is from a Charlie Hebdo-related essay I read recently:
Pretty sure Willie Mays *is* still a decent person...
