I love how everyone's got their own "saddest Smog song." I think it's "Came Blue" - i freeze up and just stare blankly for a good five minutes after listening.

This is complete conjecture on my part, but I always assumed this song had to do with Chan Marshall specifically, and meeting her father knowing he'd been an abusive asshole.
