And the rate of positive tests against total testing has been decreasing ever since WI re opened 3 weeks ago. We just came off our lowest two day positive tests since forever ago, so I’m not sure social distancing really mattered. At this point, we should have seen a huge spike, but alas.
The linked graph showing total cases is meaningless without testing numbers alongside of it.
Wisconsin has been open for 8 days now and we have seen a spike in testing and a gradual decline in the percentage of cases against testing. I’m hopeful we don’t see the spike in the next 7 days. I’d like to think that if we don’t see a spike in that 2 week window, we might be gradually getting in the clear.
Those people probably work in a more industrial sector of the economy, which has been open then entire time, for the most part. In my industrial park most parking lots have been full.
