What’s really going to grind your gears, is that when/if m4a shows up and your employer no longer is footing the bill for health insurance, they aren’t going to gross up your salary to include the previous benefit. So in actuality, it will actually be a pay cut if your premiums match your new tax.

I think some of the highest per pupil spending exists in the poorest districts. I know Detroit, Chicago, and Milwaukee public schools are the highest funding per pupil in their areas, if not regions/country.
