Guys’ bootstraps are legit.

lol. Thought the exact same thing.

So they can’t label a graph key properly? They included only part of 2016 on the graph? Is that intentional to cherry pick data?

Maybe they realized people like buying cars that they think look cool and stylish.

Your linked graph shows a wide array of industry and also has 2016-2017 written on it.

Don’t criticize. you’ll be un followed and greyed in a heartbeat.

Wow. I got unfollowed by jalopnik for asking if ryans story about goodyear was ethical. tough crowd. jeez.

testing

You honestly believe that in one year, industry across all sectors of the economy have implemented more CO2 producing mechanisms? Not to mention Obama was President in 2016.

Apu is Hindu you fucking idiot.

omg. fuck off.

I’d say that there is some line in the ethics sand that journalists should adhear to. No idea what that is. Proper journalists can probably say.

Yeah. It’s still a little confusing. The OP asked a very straight forward question and it has derailed into semi craziness.

according to you, obtaining information legally and ethically are of no concern then. k.

one does not mitigate the other.

That’s all that was being asked. Thank you.

As I stated. No one was arguing the legality. I know this is Jalopnik, but even I thought they understood the definition of ethics.

ok. What’s the journalistic standard in publishing a sealed document? I’m guessing, hit send?

I don’t think anyone is arguing against that. The OP just thinks that the journalist might have an ethical dilemma on their hands. Publishing something they know is supposed to be under seal, but isn’t due to a clerical error.

Fine the Dow is up 350pt today on news that Xi is looking to reduce tariffs and eliminate forced partnerships.
