Castro’s problems are (IMO) almost entirely image related. His charisma level is at near zero, the middle school teacher combover is doing him no favors, and while the things he says make sense, unless you’re really listening for them, they just don’t land. He doesn’t make an impression.

Replying to you, hoping you’ll ungray it.

Where was I lecturing? Also, didn’t you say you were white on another thread?

I’m not a Tulsi fan but I think out of all the candidates she would be my vote for “Most likely to come across the stage and punch Trump square in his anus mouth” and I would be there for that.

It’s pretty easy to fluster Trump the mans unhinged twitter posts are a daily occurrence. Just tell him he has small hands he’ll lose his mind for a week, I am unconcerned about any of the democratic candidates getting “flustered” especially not someone with as rock solid a plan as Warren.

I’d say there’s a pretty good contrast in how the various candidates speak about healthcare that is repeated in how they analyze policies:

She played that card when Pelosi shaded her. Kellyanne tried to butt herself into grown folks business and Pelosi said something to the effect of she doesn’t ‘talk to the help.’ Kellyanne played the sexism card but Pelosi was actually right in this case. Kellyanne has no position in the government. She’s simply

My reactions, in order of glee from least to most:

Fucker Carlson and his ilk still deluded in thinking they belong here more than anyone else. This country became immoral when people looking like him stole it by murdering People already rightfully here, stole other People to build it, and it remains so as they are now are stealing People’s lives at the southern

So history was made yesterday when a Congresswoman called someone the B-word.  God bless America.

But I do wonder, why it is Davis’ tears are considered so remarkable? And I do find it impossible to listen to stories like hers without thinking of the generations upon generations of people of color—black and Native people in particular—who have said the very same things and begged this country, just once, to

This.  We need to play this like the country is behind us, because...the country is behind us.  He’s playing to his base; let him do it.  I’m content with his doing this while ignoring the folks he needs to win for re-election.

If you fear for your life because of a stranger knocking on your door, DON’T OPEN THE DOOR.

It doesn’t make sense to ‘close the border’. We do a lot of trading with Mexico. They buy our stuff, we buy their stuff - we more or less have factories IN Mexico and ship the product up here to either sell directly, or use the parts to build other stuff.

Jesus H Christ I simply cannot imagine opening the door and not saying “oh hey dude I think you got the wrong place—have a good night.” Who comes to the door armed FFS? In a gated community at that? I grew up in the hood in London, moved to the hood in NYC in the ’90s and live in South (formerly South Central) LA now

There wasn’t a crisis until he invented it. Now he’s trying to make it come true.

I am stealing the hell out of this GIF and you can’t stop me, coppers!

While I’d be fucking ecstatically giddy if the NRA went away (and nothing took its place) I have a hard time believing that’s really going to happen.

In 2012 My aorta tore, it is called a Dissection. The pain was extremely bad, but I was still able to get out of the car and stumble like a drunk person through the doors of the ER. I would have rated it a 9/10. To me 10/10 means you are in so much pain you cannot even move.
