I highly encourage you to go! Egypt is lovely, though I would not recommend travelling as a lone woman (I went with my now husband as a then fictional married couple). If you need tips, let me know.

I had the chance to see Hatchepsut’s temple in Thebes. It is simply baffling in size and architecture - the visuals of this hypothetical movie would be breath taking.

Russia is the current largest country in the world but does not compare to the Ancient Egyptian and Chinese empires (the latter extended all over Asia and into Eastern Europe at certain points in time) in size, reach, history and economic impact (for their time).

I am very excited about this. However...

On a more promising Coachella note: this year, 33.7% of the line-up are female acts - a festival high (previous high was 2016 at 28%).

That’s not contradictory to my statement. “Feminism” the word is not a welcome label to most French women. It doesn’t mean they are not fighting for equality, breaking the glass ceiling, etc.

Lived in France? No.

Actually, feminism is still largely considered a dirty word in France.

I believe Leonard Cohen more than deserves a place on that list.

Canadian feline mounty squad!

Hmmm I think you may need some context here.

My exact same thought when I saw the Top 5 pic.

How do you not have more stars?????

LOL. You are either a long-winded troll, or you may seriously need to get your head out of the sand.

Very sorry this happened to you. I can only wish you a successful healing process, and hope that these fuckers will one day get what they deserve.

That is indeed the plight of us square-jawed folks.

Thank you. I had the exact same reaction after following the comments here and at watchersonthewall...

Wait... isn’t that what the blocking feature is for? I’m speaking from experience here: even in conversations between our common friends, we can’t see each others’ posts.

Haha easy mistake. Plus, we now have an ASTRONAUT in charge of transport.

Kirsty Duncan is an awesome lady! But not our environment minister (that would be Catherine McKenna, the lawyer who founded Level), but our Minister of Science.
