Yeahhhhh, there are days he comes home absolutely destroyed. Pre-COVID, there was one day a week my child went home after school with the cousins, so after work, I went to my brother’s house for the pickup. I would get there first, and on traumatic days, he would come home and hug the kids with tears in his eyes. And

One of the worst days at my newspaper job was when I had to read multiple *detailed* police reports about how a monster had molested a set of siblings. I don’t know how someone could make processing that information a full-time job, unless it helps to know you can do something about it. Your brother is a hero.

It’s fucking *heart-stopping* every time I get a news alert and I see the name Ginsburg mentioned. Sincerely, legitimately terrifying knowing what could happen if she (or another justice) dies within the next six months. It’s absolutely ridiculous that that’s where we are as a nation, to know that everything hinges on

I used to teach week-long creative drama classes for kids 8-13 years old.  We often did short adaptations of Shakespeare and other classics.  Wishbone made this so much easier because the kids often would know the stories already!  And he did look great in his little hats.

Much respect to your brother for the work he does.

I’m a teacher and a fellow Wishbone-celebrator. When students come hang in my classroom during lunch, I put Wishbone up on the Smartboard. They DIE at the 90s everything, but then they get all caught up in the story and don’t want to leave. (These are 7th and 8th graders, by the way - so they’re too cool for

When my brother was in law school, he said that this show and Lambchop’s Playalong were the highlight of his day, because they came on during the break in his classes, so I’m imagining it went something like Torts, Contracts, (bike home) muhfucking Wishbone & Lambchop, Civil Procedure, then legal research/writing all

The song will be forever stuck in my head. “Wish a story wishbone...”

Remember - all that violence that Trump says could happen if Biden becomes president actually is happening while Trump is President.

Baseless guess: Spacey

Rachel-Wood has really grown into a very thoughtful person. People are quick to harp on celebrities, but I do feel despite the money, you are very powerless. It’s a church we all congregate to because it does fill a certain portion of our spirt but we all know the extreme abuse that takes place behind closed doors. I

It wasn’t safe for her to do so near the end of Obama’s term. Scalia died in February and the senate wouldn’t even hold a hearing for 12 months. How early would she have had to resign for them to allow Obama to replace her?

You know, in hindsight, maybe a system whereby the top judges in the country are selected by whichever politician currently sits in the White House and then serve until death was not the best system.

One of the many, many reasons Biden needs to be elected, too bad she didn't retire back when it was safe to do so, but now everything hangs by a thread, she deserves to rest properly and recover, she'll probably live to 100, but the stress of this seat must get to her sometimes.

I work in a medical office as clinical staff and I sometimes just can’t believe the conspiracy theories being thrown around the break room by the nursing staff

There are an alarming number of nurses buying into crazy conspiracy theories about COVID-19, or who are dismissing it as no big deal. This shit has very real consequences.

I would say that people in certain parts of Asia that have been using it for centuries can still use it (and they are) within their own countries.  But it is forever toxic outside of those places.  While the company here is from China, they should have had the good sense to limit this product to their Asian customers.

If “By improving” you mean setting daily records for positive cases, then he’s not wrong.

San Rafael is not 2 hours north of San Francisco, more like half an hour or less since there’s no traffic these days. Actually looks like the Eichler neighborhood in Terra Linda. For those who don’t know Eichler houses are famous mid century modern houses. Pretty cool stuff to read up on actually.
