We have one in our front yard and when it blooms, it’s GORGEOUS! But they don’t bloom every year (or, at least, ours doesn’t). It’s every 2 - 3 years. But simply stunning.

Our neighbors had peacocks and the ARE meanies. But the male would leave its feathers all over so we got a good collection of peacock feathers. Also, their cries sound like cats in heat and in distress. It’s a disturbing noise.

They knew it was a fire hazard. Those people’s deaths are on their hands.

I’ve never heard of her before, but OMG SHE’S AMAZING! :)

Oh wonderful! If I’m ever in Paris, I will check it out :)

LOL, mint! Yeah, it does like to wander. :)

That’s nice! We have a lax landlord, too, but I don’t think she’d want me digging up things that are well established. The yard was in good shape when I took it over, so I’m mostly maintaining that and changing some plants out.

Lovely! Your garden looks beautiful :)

Aw bummer. We got snow last week and I was getting so frustrated with the weather.

I worked at an organic garden that had savory and medicinal herb gardens. The smells...omgsh. So lovely.

OMG, I want a hinged greenhouse! Or anything like that. We rent right now, plus have a small yard, so I’m making do with row covers, but they’re a p.i.t.a. Your garden sounds like what I’m growing. Except the green beans. We’re doing peas instead.

Nice! Those all sound lovely! Cherry tomatoes are one of my faves so I’m a bit jealous you’re already eating yours!

Oh no! That sounds like a lot of work. But definitely covering the beds is a good way to get the weeds. One of my former garden lady bosses highly recommended that method. She’d also lay down newspaper under the plastic.

Well, I’m playing my luck a little on some of these things. We just had snow last week, so... :/ I love begonias! They look great in dark, shady areas. And your herbs are making me drool...... :)

That sounds like a dream vacation! I’d love to travel somewhere foreign and just take of their plants in beautiful weather :) And I bet the owner will be so happy when she comes home. I love the idea of “borrowing” a garden!

Ooo, those hyacinth beans look cool! I’ve never heard of/seen those, so that was a cool new plant to discover.

I love the idea of vertical gardening, but I’ve only ever seen it when I was working at some organic gardens. I’ve never pulled it off myself, not for squashes anyway, but I’m gonna have to do some of that this summer for my squashes and melons. We’ll see how that goes...

I know...I’m west of y’all, in the mountains. We had snow around the same time.

Eeep! That’s not good. I hope it feels better soon!
