Does it make me incredibly jaded if after watching this my only opinion is "meh"?

Oh what?! That's witchcraft!
Man, I wish somebody had said something last year - felt like I just about bricked my 4 when I updated it. Months of frustration before the Apple boot finally eased off the 4's neck enough to allow it to still pretend to be a smart phone.
I pre-ordered a Karvt case, because there's something about wood on a gadget that just makes it so sexy. I'll have to try it out before I can really give it the thumbs up though
Right, nothing they could possibly do with full name, birthdate, social security number, physical address, email address, phone number or insurance information. Nothing at all...
So what do we do about it? Or are we just resigned to a police state?
Just taking this to its logical conclusion.
You know, I threw the hammer at another guy a couple weeks back because of a similar "why do we need this?" argument, but you put it quite intelligently and a tip of the hat to you sir. You are right, it would really open up the market. But it's a design concept so it's not like it's ever going to make it to market…
Squishy indeed John, squishy indeed...
Was this really an experiment, or was this an 'experiment' after one of the scientists leaned a little too far over the ol' nitrogen pressure cooker?
This. I had one, but I bumped the RAM to 8 GB post-purchase (this is one of the few ultrabooks you can actually do that with), and I took it around the world with me. It was the best thing ever - nice and light, incredible battery life (so I didn't have to sweat the next time I'd get access to an outlet), pretty much…
And the worst part is it's reflexive - if you do check your phone regularly you'll find yourself doing it whether you meant to or not. But if you're up for some fun you can play a little game - I find if you're sitting at a table with a group of people and one person pulls out their phone everyone else unconsciously…
How convenient! I've been dreading the slog out to the local killing grounds, this would save me a trip... you know, if I was of better breeding. *sigh* Guess I better get moving then...
Did anybody else flinch a little when they said they're taking out the dividers under the seats? People are never really at their best on planes - who wants to take bets on how long it takes for a story to come out on a fight over underseat territories?
Pretty much, but this is why I drive like a grandma half the time. Yeah, bikes lose to cars, and little cars lose to bigger cars lose to trucks. But everybody drives around with the assumption that everybody else is paying attention and following all the rules and not a jackass - you have to operate with a little…
That's pretty much in line with what I've got. With Match enabled, iTunes is slow to load, slow to work, slow to stop. The music app on my phone is even worse, but it's an iPhone 4, so I can't really complain - at this point I'm just supposed to be happy it turns on and (usually) makes phone calls. For example I've…
Now if only they added something that made Match work right... or really any of the Cloud features. Going on four years and it's still a wrestling match between my iTunes and my iPhone whenever I want to actually put something from my computer onto my phone.
Aww, why didn't anyone say anything yesterday?!?!? This looks amazing! But sadly, it's $1.99 now
I wear a watch every day - sometimes I even forget to take it off at the end of the day. And for all the "I could just look at my phone!" people there are out there, I can't count the number of times I've had people with phones in their pockets decide it was easier just to ask a perfect stranger what time the device…
That's exactly what I was thinking - we need to give people more of a reason to stare at their phones instead of enjoying the show
