Leading into all of 2018 and starting here in 2019 I’m buying TIPS again - Treasury Inflation Protected Securities. Earning a nice return and once CPI starts to go up later this year - the rates will increase in the TIPS.

As a lifelong Floridian, I’m too smart to go outside much from July- Sept. I’ll leave that time for all the sweaty northerners who come visit the mouse in central Florida since their schools don’t start till after Labor Day.

Meanwhile in Florida, yes we have an abundance of crazies - but it’s January 9th and it’s 74 and sunny outside. I’ll take my chances with my fellow Florida men/women for paradise such as this...
