Controversial opinion that is stated in literally every comments section regarding a Naughty Dog game... I do see what you’re saying, though. They’re definitely not my favorite studio when it comes to nuts and bolts gameplay, but that’s not the primary thing I play their games for. I love the art, the pacing, the

Well, if they’re going to actually finally adapt it then it certainly feels like the best avenue to do so. Chernobyl was a series that knew how to ratchet up tension and emotion in the right places, and Druckman’s on board so it will more than likely have authenticity. Count me in as excited, I hope they pull it off.

I think a lot of people miss this, but adaptations aren’t necessarily for the people who played the game. They’re for the (much, much) larger audience that watches TV and movies. If they can get some of the original fans on board, cool, but they’re after people who haven’t played the game more than them.

I feel like I’ve seen it.

I don’t know what they should do but I do know what they shouldn’t do — and that is, use the characters we all know..

Meanwhile Conservatives keep saying Climate Change scientists are all paid off.  Paid off by WHO??? All that Big Green money??

Fuck. We are barbaric. :o(

Because they’re “lobbying” /s.

I think you have that opening line backwards. It is not oil that is in the pockets of elected and appointed officials. Rather, it is elected and appointed officials who are in the pockets of big oil interests. And obviously. But this has been true for a long time. And not just oil. Big industry, finance, wallstreet,

And this is a surprise how? The moment Citizen’s United was made “legal”, the various groups ramped up their “donations” to get what they wanted.

By not calling it ‘bribery’ like every normal person on earth would.

The League of Conservation Voters’ 2018 report card even saw seven Republican senators receive flat-out zero scores. That’s because they voted against the environment and public health every damn time.

How is this even legal?

And so begins the robot apocalypse.

In the early ‘60s a psychologist named Milgram conducted an experiment in which subjects were instructed to administer larger and larger electrical shocks to a person wired to a chair in an adjacent room. The control board had switches for voltage up to 450 volts, labeled “Lethal”.

Now that they have been taught to feel and understand pain.. they will use it to better inflict pain upon us once the war starts!!!!

Really? The Pegasus swooping in for a Galactica reveal? There is only one jaw dropping reveal from Galactica... and it’s a doozy...

Yeah, great list. And in the end we all win.

Is it just me, or are none of these videos embedding properly? The right 1/3rd or so of each video frame is hidden, and I can’t even enable full-screen on any of them.

This reveal sucked.
