Ken's emotionless face as he held up his vote for Jessica was incredible.

Thanks for the recs! I've been looking forward to the series so checking out the source material first for American Gods seems like a good place to start with these.

I really liked the line about the Old Gods meeting the New World- it made me feel a sense of excitement to see a story about this concept. Anybody know of any film/literature that explores this concept?

Ken/Michelle to win. I think Zeke will be a fan favorite but won't ultimately win the season.
I think David is a terrible player but will make it far in the game due to being viewed as a non-threat.

Excited for Survivor coverage to recover, even in truncated form!

Really looking forward to seeing the acting continue to evolve among those who play hosts. The way Louis Herthum portrayed the shifting programming of Peter was fantastic.

If any fest will have it, it will be AFI but I wouldn't be surprised if it simply isn't ready in time like The Revenant and Joy last year and just bows sight unseen (industry insiders notwithstanding).

I've been sold well in advance on Manchester and Erdmann. From what I've read/heard they sound like masterpieces that will be hailed for years to come (Erdmann already made the BBC poll!).

Did nobody else get the feeling that Eugene is now going to take the place of John Wayne in the comics?

It was actually kind of sweet to see Jonah finally find a bunch of douchey bros to fit in with, as the character never really seems to fit in anywhere (aside from next to a sasquatch or particularly deformed tree).

Suzanne Cryer's dismayed/horrified expression as the user count moves too quickly past 500k to say aloud was perfect.

Jim Gaffigan seems like such a nice person to meet.

You can actually read Erlich's in-universe article for Code/Rag

Based on the preview, non-tech people don't get the platform after all!
Looks like many of us are anally-precognitive just like Erlich.

In next episode's preview there was someone sitting next to Dinesh at the house who I didn't recognize so maybe that's them (or they bring back Dang).

Also the site now lists Richard as CEO again (in the most bitter of terms).

The Pied Piper website has a picture of the interface, and I think Monica is right- it looks horrible. I wouldn't be surprised if the complexity of the process is a plot point in future episodes.

She doesn't have to be gay to be in a relationship with a woman!

Two throwbacks to Russ Hanneman this episode! While the ''this guy fucks'' one was obvious (and completely killed), the less obvious one was at the very beginning of the episode in which you can tell by the ridiculous lid that Erlich is pouring Tres Commas into his drink at the Mexican restaurant.
