This is on Foxtrot Alpha, a blog about war. Tough cookies bro, you're in the wrong neighborhood.
Seeing as how it's extremely difficult to get any sort of positive experience in a dealership, I can't say I'm very sympathetic to their plight. I have to continually remind people that dealerships and the actual OEMs are two completely separate entities (except Tesla).
psh, I love cars, but I don't want to die in a car accident.
Working at Gawker Media is a dream job for many of the women on staff here at Jezebel. This is a place that takes…
Allow me to predict the White House response.
Some unions are good and necessary, some are bad and counterproductive. Some regulations are good and necessary, some are bad and laughable. As with ALL things, there's no black or white on this issue and any politician who suggests otherwise is as idiotic as...well, a politician speaking in absolutes. As seen here.
Those two in particular, you'll be waiting a long time.
I'll sign it, but I expect this to be about as effective as every other White House petition lately. Meaning it will get some boilerplate response about democracy and then a short response about how Congress needs to step up to the plate and do something (or equally short response about how the government's hands are…
Signed!
Normally I'm not a fan of writing stories about online petitions to the White House. They're often as frivolous as…
I'll see your projector headlights and raise you HID headlights. After having them on my last two cars, I can't imagine ever going back to halogen. It's like a night and day difference. (hehe)
I'm trying to figure out why you "had "to do 85 in a 55, in traffic, to pass a minivan on a multi-lane interstate. If you were doing 5mph more than the van at 55, you would have passed quite easily. If the van was doing 80mph, did you really "need" to pass it?
But does it swallow more than your mom? Sorry, I saw an opening, had to go for it. I'll show myself out....
Yes, minivans are grossly (and unfairly) stigmatized! My first ride was a 1987 Toyota Van. It was great in the quirkiest of ways: Forward control, stick shift, seats you could entirely remove from the van. But for hauling things/people, you simply couldn't beat it.
