I only have one favorite thing and it's getting $13,000 checks in the mail. Boom! You just saved $54.

My mom isn't a super picky eater but she's not an adventurous one. I used to like to try all sorts of weird shit as a kid (I am the least picky eater ever and have been that way since I was a little kid). Last time we went out to dinner I horrified her by ordering sweat breads and head cheese at a tapas place.

I had a similar mother.

Hobby Lobby doesnt "do"Halloween. They have "Fall" stuff.

Buy, Yes. Display, No.

That reminds me of something funny... my mother used to say "You eat what comes on the table. Look at me... I eat everything. Think of the poor people!".

Because it would be gauche to *actually* shit right on the poors, but metaphorically shitting on them still isn't quite enough. Therefore, smearing feces like a fucking monkey in the zoo.

She's probably such a control freak she wouldn't let someone do it.

She sounds like someone who assumes since she doesn't like something that her children won't like something. The soap thing is genetic and does not affect me. In

Look, all I'm asking is that Christmas be pushed back to its traditional borders.

See, beginning Christmas the day after Thanksgiving is right and proper. Any more than that is TOO MUCH CHRISTMAS.

My standard go-to first date is drinks and maybe some appies, for several reasons (public place, low-key, low pressure environment), but one of the main reasons is so that I can see how he interacts with servers. If he is rude or disrespectful to our server, there is never a second date. How a person treats people in

"Tomato" soup.

If the manager is afraid to approach a table, that sounds like a job for the cops.

Mistreating your server is one of the surest signs that someone is a bad person. I guarantee that every BCO-bad-customer from these stories is a piece of shit to every person in their life.

That's exactly why there should be a law that every person in America should work as a server for one year.

That story was a double dose of bad customer AND bad manager. WTF with that manager?? Fuck that guy.

Her response? Not her problem as a poor college student?

i don't get it either. if you think you are going to be concerned about the prices, why not ask the host/hostess if you can see a menu before you are seated? if the prices are an issue, hand the menu back and go somewhere they are more to your liking. or, in the modern world, check the restaurant's website for a menu
