Except Kojima has nothing to do with MGS anymore and his name won’t be on it

You’d think after almost a decade in At Least Its Not Hell he’d grow as a character, but he’s still incredibly irresponsible in the later sagas

I don’t even know where to start with this. Dodge rolling has always been a dumb, overused mechanic that is mostly the fault of Souls games at this point, and even there, it was limited by equipment weight and stamina.

ok but it’s all three of those things.

Seconded.

I’ve always worked on the assumption that one of the reasons for the name change was due to the scenes when people chant his name, because it causes translation problems. In Japanese the chant is 3 syllables, ‘sa’, ‘ta’, ‘n’, but in english it’s just 2 (‘say’, ‘tin’). So ultimately they were killing two birds with one

Didn’t the English dub of DBZ Kai use the name Satan?

I mean, I know it’s a meme, especially in the territories where the name was changed, but... it really wasn’t a big deal.

Toriyama was the god of chaos during both the Dragonball and Dragonball Z runs of the manga.

If there is a fraction of a cent in it for them, yes, anything else.

Yeah agreed - this stuff has been around on home-consoles since at least the ps2. I think it peaked on the first iteration of Xbox one games (with the kinect camera) - but then the in-game models greatly out-paced what could be pulled from a regular face-scan.

Nothing beats Reanu Keeves

Fight Night Round 4 has this feature, yeah. It’s still my go-to boxing game.

While I am sure of they really want it EA or any other corporate vampire den can find anything they want on me, my paranoia prevents me from uploading photos to the overwhelming majority of platforms. I doubt I would go for such a thing unless a game is offline only.

Hopefully with something on under said kilt!

It would probably work better nowadays if you trained an AI to make a recognizable human face with it.  Just not sure it would be worth the effort.

2K as well, but it feels like the higher-quality the head models got, the worse this tech got at meshing the texture to the model properly

Kotaku must be one of the most toxic and horrible places to work. You all have been trained and conditioned by an advertising algorithm to bitch and moan about everything. It’s no secret that ad algorithms reward negativity. On top of that Kotaku has droves of mindless drones who nod their heads in agreement with

Grumpy Cat: Still a better Internet personality than _____ Paul.*
