Agreed. It sounds awesome too.

Sounds like the attendant got off easy.

I’m sure it’s a good story but I couldn’t make it through the first paragraph.

No thanks. Not unless I can get the V8 and a manual. Even then I’d probably stick with RWD. There’s a time and a place....

Makes sense. Thanks. I’m certainly not one to judge. I’m currently obsessed with buying a 67-72 Chevy C10 which has zero practicality (for me) but the heart wants what the heart wants...

I don’t mean any harm by this but can someone who has been here longer explain what the obsession with station wagons is here on Jalopnik. Is it because we can’t have them? Is it a way of fighting back against crappy crossovers? I think I get it but it almost seems like the trendy thing to do is to reminisce about a

That just looks gloriously liberating. I’m going to start doing this and hope it catches on.

Considering I average about 8.5 mpg in my mostly stock Mustang GT, I’d be ok with this. Nothing like having the low fuel warning come on with the gauge still showing half a tank. (It comes on anytime it estimates you have less than 50 miles until empty.)

I love how these two mental midgets purposely follow the cops into what was bound to turn into a massive traffic jam. Guess they didn’t have alot on their plate that day?

PSA: Good car washes work just fine. I’ve used them for every new car I own 2-4 times a month and never had a single issue. You just have to find a good one. Plus it’s less than $10 and it gets vacuumed AND gets all the salt off in the winter. Even if I could easily do it at home (live in a condo) I wouldn’t. Not

Wow. I had never heard of that guy but I found it on YouTube. I couldn’t listen to him for more than 30 seconds. I wanted to tear my ears off and burn them. No way I was making it through a whole review.

Jesus, was that a water bottle or a grenade?

My first car was an ‘86 VW Scirocco. I enjoyed the crap out of that car with its 90 glorious horses and slightly bent frame.  I would love another 2nd gen Scirocco. I think an 82 would be perfect. Dammit. Now I’m gonna spend the rest of the day on eBay looking for one.

I’ve had great success selling cars to CarMax but would never ever buy one from them. You can’t have it both ways.

I’m pretty sure they are no longer “notoriously shitty”. They have plenty of power but also handle very well. Mustang drivers, on the other hand, are definitely notoriously shitty.

Other than the ‘76, I can’t imagine a more disappointing mustang to own than the ‘10. I mean the ‘11 had the same body but picked up over 100hp in both the v6 and the v8. To get back on topic though, I’ve owned several mustangs GTs myself (‘07, 11, and ‘14) and haven’t hit anything yet. If you really MUST do a burn

If your rear tires are just spinning because you’re on the throttle, they are not providing any forward momentum so lifting won’t necessarily shift the weight to the front, it will simply allow the tires to stop spinning and start rolling and (hopefully) gain some traction.

Great. Yet another awesome racing series that we in the US will have no ability to follow.

Nope. I am not that guy. He sounds like a mental midget and a d-bag combined.

I’ve actually had great success selling my car to CarMax. Far better than what the dealerships offer. Just don’t try to buy a car from them, based on their “no haggle” prices, that’s where they are making their money.
