He was the right actor on the wrong movie.

We'll see.
"You think Aquaman is a joke? Well, HE'S KHAL FUCKING DROGO NOW, WHO'S A JOKE?"
Also representation. We have a polynesian superhero now.
I liked that it's more of a sci-fi film than a superhero film. I know people who care about the source material didn't liked it, but I never cared about FF before and never watched the other movies. I'm not saying that I think this will be good, but at least I'm interested this time.
As someone who never cared about Fantastic Four comic books and never watched the other movies, this trailer picked my interest. I liked it.
I always though Doggett brough a new life to the show. To me, the worst seasons of The X-Files are seasons 6 and 7. I think there are some really good episodes with Doggett and Scully in the 8th season, and overall it was way better than those 2 seasons before.
Of course they're making Bible shows, because Game of Thrones proved them that people like fantasy, and the Bible is the most popular fantasy book of all time.
Because if the investors don't make BIG MONEH, it's a failure for them. It's not that they NEED a great amount of money to live, but they WANT, so if they can't get, firing 500 people is "justifiable".
Another white male gaining his first directorial opportunity on big budget movie. How "lucky"!
They really want to do "Guardians of the Trek", huh? And now another guy who never liked Trek is involved in the production of a Trek movie.
My main problem with this is that the cover seems to imply that its content has more "style" than what we see inside. I don't think the art is bad, it just didn't captivated me enough to read what it's on it.
Gorgeous cover, boring pages (didn't read it, I'm just judging the art).
I think it's funny that when people talk about the horrors of communism/socialism, they are actually talking about the horrors of totalitarianism.
They forgot Jake Gyllenhaal, fantastic on Nightcrawler, and nominated overrated actor Bradley Cooper AGAIN.
Last season was the best since season 2, so I have high hopes this will be good even without Shirley, Troy and Pierce.
Or coooourse it would. Because here in gawkerland DC is always doing everything wrong, even when they don't split their movies in two. :P
"Gratuitous evil laughing businessman stereotypes"
Mulder then finds his missing sister, DEA agent Denise.
See, that's the problem with "Pessimippopotamus", he wants DC to fail because of a childish rivalry. He don't care if DC has interesting characters that deserve their own movies, he probably thinks it's ALL CRAP BECAUSE DC!!1!
