Our dog (a maltese-poodle mix) is small and slow and a little lazy. He gets three walks a day, but sometimes they’re only half a block, depending on time of year and he easily spends half the walk sniffing the grass/snow/tree/etc and peeing on various things. Good luck getting him to go full-bore for 30 minutes.

Bill Lawrence, well off though he likely is, is not Jeff Bezos-level rich.

Even with insurance, there can still be large out of pocket costs.

Nailed it! (I love her)

I know, but I’m not an experienced steak-cutter or cooker, I suppose I could just ask the butcher at the store to slice it thin... :P

I NEED THOSE. I could make proper (almost) cheesesteaks!

I would at least give the new Twilight Zone a try but I ain’t buying another streaming service. Bleh.

Sam Black Crow has been cast, so I feel like the Lakeside storyline may still happen - but I am definitely a bit wary.

Don’t fall for the sunk cost fallacy. DTMFA.

Perhaps, but would he want to?

It’s not that I think Sunny isn't allowed to be sincere. It's just... Not what usually passes for sincerity on this show. I admired it but also felt like I was watching a totally different show. The end of the Super Bowl episode felt much more in line with Sunny sincerity.

Lies! :)

We had Marie’s a couple weeks ago and it was great! My husband loves Palermo’s in Oak Lawn. I also like Aurelio’s and La Barra.

I could probably do it but I'm not very coordinated and am picturing a roast chicken going splat. Maybe I'll start with some Cornish game hens.

Hmm I suppose my tongs are sturdy enough for that.

I made homemade pumpkin beer marshmallows last year. It was very sticky and the whipping broke my handmixer. But they were pretty tasty.

Ok but how do you get the chicken off the rack??

It says a lot that she had access to the best doctors and no money worries and they still didn’t take her seriously.

Funny thing is, I know Kevin's aware that, for instance, there is excellent Chinese and Japanese food in the Chicago burbs, because he's written about it! It's not all chains.

Chambord is a good kir royale substitute, too, if you don’t have creme de cassis handy.
