The best Bob’s Burgers song is The Spirits of Christmas, come on.

Nah. I'm a minor coffee snob but grinding your own beans is totally worth the effort. Get a burr grinder though.

Ok this is a peeve of mine. You mean cue. Que is a Spanish word that means what. It’s pronounced “kay”. Queue is an English word that means line. Cue. I don't know why this is hard.

Nah, just giving my bonafides for credibility’s sake.

What. Dude, Jacob Ammann went rogue in 1693. Way before there were Mennonites in Pennsylvania. I’m not even being pedantic, you can’t even Wikipedia correctly.

You’re thinking of the Amish. Mennonites have never been opposed to technology. Signed, Mennonite pastor's kid

My parents lived in Puerto Rico before I was born, and I grew up eating the PR versions of many of these dishes. I love arroz con pollo and black beans and rice and keep jarred Goya sofrito on hand. I know the two cultures are not the same but it gives me an affection for all Caribbean Latin American food.

Fun fact: Old Overholt was started by Mennonite farmers.

Um the OCG sounds delicious and I need some now.

Ha! We downloaded this before it was cool! It’s actually a pretty fun game.

I welcome this also because we have a good friend who’s vegan and my dad also mostly eats a vegan diet, and it makes finding places to eat with them so much easier.

This was like, church picnic and family potluck staple of my childhood. While dill is fine, a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch powder works well too.

Yeah, I didn’t realize some rando teenager spearheaded this, but ... it’s... fine? Like, it sounds JUST LIKE Toto. They bring nothing new to it. I don’t get it. I won’t turn it off, but neither does it excite me.

I’ve never had a beer get skunked in 20-30 minutes, that seems like the sign of a bad beer. Or maybe I just don’t drink enough IPAs.

So what? Again, this happens to every beer ever poured. Why does it matter if it’s a flight? Are you suggesting we guzzle beer quickly like espresso? I don’t care if the flavor changes subtly as  I drink it, in fact, sometimes that’s a good thing.

I care about dirty taps, but I don’t understand ... we’re not talking about a clear bottle sitting in direct sunlight for weeks before you drink it; we’re talking about just-tapped beer being drunk within 15-20 minutes. Who cares if it’s exposed to light and oxygen? So is every beer tapped or poured, ever.

?!?!? Do you suggest we all come drink straight from the tap, then? WTF is this nonsense?

I definitely try to move from lighter to darker as I drink my flights, and many breweries will put them in a suggested order, but basically ... let people drink what they want.

Yeah, I usually only need a few sips before I know if I want to keep drinking. Geez. And especially if it’s a brewery I haven’t been to before, I want to try a variety rather than committing to 1-2 beers max (rarely can I drink more than 24 oz of beer in a sitting, no matter the ABV). I agree with Kate’s sentiment

No, it’s not. It’s also not that hard to add three words to an article.
