Still safer than Action Park.
Still safer than Action Park.
Yeah, I would have used my car as a weapon on him. Bring a pipe to a car fight? Good luck, degenerate.
“they found $30,000 in cash and steroids”
That’s not how domestic violence works
We shouldn’t blame the victim, domestic abuse is a complicated situation, and part of the abusers tactic is to make their partners feel like they are nothing and worthless, especially without them. Then when they do something really bad, the apologize and say they won’t do it again. Then they repeat the cycle. It’s…
If you reasonably feared for your safety (and someone brandishing a pipe seems like they would represent a threat to your safety), then probably not. However, if the offender died, you’d probably at least end up having to hire a lawyer.
Meanwhile, no doubt those cars will keep racking up parking fees until they exit and pay their tolls.
Wait, 28 years ago was the 60s right?... right?!
Shit, 28 years. The 90's was longer ago than i remember....
Unless the contract specified you could NEVER have been pro, she will likely win. At the end of the day this is a contract’s case, it all comes down to the language in what she signed.
Last time one of these articles were posted, it was brought up that traditionally the sponsor (usually a car dealer) would take out some kind of insurance policy (which the presumably do for other sorts of promotions they aren’t expecting to win, which explains better how local mom & pop dealerships can be doing…
She wasn’t a pro though. Per the USGA (US Golf Association) one is no longer considered a professional golfer 6 months after the last professional event or capacity was completed. It had been nearly 30 years, she is an amateur by definition.
Why would she be SOL? She isn’t currently a pro, and hasn’t been for 18 years.
At this point I’m more surprised when a tourney does give the person a car. Every time I hear of one of these promos it either goes unclaimed or gets denied. Had someone from my high school hit one, then get denied because he was in high school, even though he was 18. No rules stating anything to support that.
A little over 30 years ago there was a $1,000,000 3/4 court basketball shot that was denied since the guy had played high school and college 4 years prior. But the Bulls team didn’t let it slide and got the guy paid.
I think this is the case Steve Lehto had a video on a couple weeks ago. It sounds like the rules only stipulated that the entrants are amateurs and didn’t say anything about formerly being a pro. I bet they’re going to be clear in the rules for that going forward.
“Simply put, Mr. Massa Hamilton is the rightful 2008 2021 Driver’s Champion...”
According to court records obtained by KSTP-TV, that supervisor still has his job and was actually given a raise and a near $20,000 bonus. The performance review that led to that raise and bonus specifically referenced the fact that “Don Sanders is no longer working for BNSF” and the reduction in slow orders.
Perhaps this is an industry (one among many) that should pay the Federal government a per train/per mile of track fee to cover the expense of the Federal government employing Federal train inspectors?
