the uh starters for stop/start vehicles are not the same as a starter for a vehicle that doesnt have it.  Its designed for that use case.

Oh... what a bunch of jackoffs.  God I hate Elon. I really do.  I’d like to wake up tomorrow and read he has blasted off for mars.  If he can take the equally repugnant Peter Theil with him it would be great.

Come on folks, it was all just a big yoke. They’re sorry for steering people in the wrong direction.

Tesla-branded panel gap alignment gauge was a close second.

Company pollutes large area then brags to investors about increase in respirator sales, rinse repeat.

“probably one of the most successful items in the Tesla Shop.”

“I can tow a space shuttle, I saw it on an ad once!” -says guy who doesn’t have a space shuttle.

Any list of this sort that doesn’t include some aspect of DC is clearly wrong.  But I will agree with the Ft Lee, I waited for about 2-3 hours on a early Friday afternoon to make it about 3 miles.  Once across the GW traffic started flowing just fine.  It didn’t help that I didn’t have an EZ Pass so I had to go

Basically, the article is worthless and based on horribly slanted data gathered from one very narrow demographic.

Agree with Minivans. I own 2 Siennas, initially out of necessity since I have 5 kids, but GD they’re pretty much the perfect utilitarian car. The 2GRFE is nuke proof- we’re talking a 400,000mi drivetrain as long as you give it synthetic every 5k miles. The amount of shit I have hauled with these things is pretty damn

Going to see the Durham Bulls in a few weeks. The spawn and I are insisting to the wife that we stop by the 11'8"(+8). A pilgrimage really...

"I swear, I have actually seen the goddamned needle move."

Worse than the lights is the little computer which predicts how many miles you have left to go. In my various VWs, it has built in 'help,' where it rapidly drops the miles-left estimate when you get to 1/8 of a tank or so. I've seen it drop from 50 to 25 miles remaining in the span of one mile at an economic 30MPH,

Yup. Death by Jalopnik!

That works unless the car makers are inveterate liars, which sometimes they are. It's also useful to people with cars whose manuals are punishingly obtuse or have gone walkabout.
