Probably because it was just such an absolutely giant PITA to open the cluster to do it the first time, they’re not in the mood to do it again and possibly end up breaking something as they’re trying to sell it? I dunno though.

Isn’t a legitimate lawyers job to say to their client “hey, this isn’t actually a case, you have no evidence, you have nothing, we’re gonna lose, and lose badly, I don’t think we should go to court on this?” Or would you still take the case and argue it as best you could after telling the client it’s a bad idea?

They got smacked down in multiple other cases too for being, essentially, really shitty lawyers. They forgot to file (or didn’t have so avoided filing) necessary documents, came with basically no evidence, etc. It’s embarrassing. They should disbar some folks for being so terrible.

As many supposed Republican voters as I saw on the internet talking about voting straight blue tickets, it seems like everyone stayed in their corners for the most part. A Republican senator could eat babies and still win, as long as they have an R next to their name, literally nothing matters.

As someone who has been to NYC a few times, I can confirm this is definitely true.
