Yeah, we were in the market for a minivan when it all hit. I’m still working, still making 100% of my salary, but my wife has nowhere to drive to, I have nowhere to go, we have no reason to buy a new car.

I’d assume they’re smart enough to phase it starting so it never made sense to take less actual income, but who knows. That’s why the marginal tax rate works the way it does, so that you don’t get punished for getting a raise.

If you’ve ever worked at a big corporation, the different divisions and stuff charge each other for shit all the time. Since they all have individual budgets it kind of makes sense, you have to keep track of it somehow. If Division A builds stuff that Division B wants, A can’t just send 100 units to B for free, then…

My wife and I enjoy this franchise, but we’re falling behind. We haven’t watched more than like 2 episodes of the sailing one. And I like sailing. I’m not sure what it’s missing, or if we’re just not in the mood.

I’m still loving destiny but that’s because I just started a few months ago so I haven’t hit a wall where every single thing is a grind. I can pick and choose my grind.

I mean, a swimming pool is technically a Clorox bath. Like, a couple gallons of Clorox (approx 6% sodium hypochlorite) to 20000 gallons of water. But still.
